Other than couple minor scuffs and a rub rail dent, this thing is in incredible shape.

    Your welcome Lynn.

If the core is anything like the interior and gel, this is certainly a rare find. Very close to your house. Immediately thought of you when I found it! Buy this thing, rebuilt the two bad cylinders over the winter (nothing for you) and sell on Scream and Fly in May to make a few bucks. For the price he was asking, you could part-out the motor Lynn.

Anyway, hopefully you pick it up and make a good home for the old HydroStream. Not too oftern you find a boat like this in storage for 25 years!

Have a good winter, Marc Morrell - Gaylord

I'm keeping it. Other than some delam from crappy lay up in a couple small places inside the core is tight. My xs from the Vixen is going on it. There are a couple dock rash spots and some scuffs inside. It's going center steer with a back seat, a guy in Saginaw is VERY good at replicating the old material patterns, the dash holes will be filled and the necessary gel/flake fixed in the spots it needs. I spun up an adapter to use the original steering wheel on the new steering system. It will all go together very cool and retro I think. Gas, cooler, and go ride.

Motor swap is already done Bill. I took the back to backs out and stashed them. I don't fit all smooshed in the corner lol, so it's going center steer with a back seat. My gel guy came and looked at it already and there is no issue with him on everything I want fixed and done. Dash will be filled, old steering cable hole filled. The few scuffs and scrapes fixed, the transom fixed from the damn clamp screws and the damage the skinny merc clamp brackets do. New carpet, the new seats will be done as close to the original pattern that is possible. Other than the hydraulic steering and custom bulkhead fitting cluster for the trim and steering hoses it'll be hard to tell it wasn't made that way. I got a couple weeks to get the hardware done before it goes out to be spiffed up. I sat up all night and fixed the original water pressure gauge. My XS is ugly... so I went and got a pallet of ultra fine silica today and some high dollar primer and epoxy black. I have a NOS set of decals for the motor too. The powerhead was fresh last winter, it was turning a 30 cleaver 7200 on the flying peach. It'll be cool.

She rolled out yesterday to Mid Michigan Fiberglass to be spiffied up. New steering just showed up, the vinyl for the interior arrives tomorrow. Waiting on my bulkhead fittings.

Mid Michigan Fiberglass must do good work?

I see them on my drive home from the cabin, when we take M-15.

Tore the original motor down, it might need a sleeve in #4 the rest look okay. I'll shelve it for now and finish another 150 block that I cut some finger ports in and a couple other doo dads. Hopefully this is all wrapped up before river ranch in Floriduh.

Mid Michigan Fiberglass quoted me 10,000. to regel my daytona white. I'd order a new hull before I ever paid that

That's like the 20th time he's gone by today?"
