That's like the 20th time he's gone by today?"

That canoe race is a pretty big event. Do you think we should pick a different weekend? If we won't have any problems running Saturday maybe everybody will enjoy watching the paddlers on Sunday. I heard they get kinda crazy. If anybody else has some thoughts on this subject post them up.

It's no big deal. We've been there before and they have even asked us to help with their event. If it's on Sunday there's not a problem because most everyone goes home on Sunday Morning. Usually, the majority of us that like Oscoda go on Friday and enjoy boating Friday and Saturday and let them Canoe on Sunday.Don't go to all the trouble of changing the event. In the past the canoe races were on Saturday until around 2:00 PM and we still had plenty of time to do our thing. It's still a good time. If you've never been to Oscoda, make sure you show up this year. You will really enjoy it.See you there. Chet

No. Don't go through the trouble of changing the weekend. Chet is right, most of the MHB boating is Friday evening and Saturday. The town will be a bit more lively than normal, but thats good for our exposure. Watching the finish of the race is a good time. Hell, anything that involves racing and beer cant be to bad!!!

Hi Kevin. I like your "Spunk". If they don't want us here, we can always go back to our own Web-site which is still in place. I'd sure hate to put a time and place that we can get our boats together on some lake as it might offend some one on this Web-site. Keep up the good work and if you start your own,we will be there. Default MHB website

I thought it was great when we all used the MHB website.
I think it was a mistake to make it a pay site.
I know there was some distracting arguing but that could have been handled without throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
Banning someone for a month should cool them down (as long as its not me )

Wasn't Ken going to just hand the site over to the group ?
It hasn't been updated in many years.
I elect Kevin Kernen to manage the MHB website.
