Default parts needed 80 Hondo v-drive

I'm new to the drag boat world but I'm hooked after my first run in my 1980 v-drive Hondo. I'm looking for some new motor plates and angle mounting blocks as the previous owner did some cutting on mine to move the motor forward in the boat. Any help is greatly appreciated as I know nada about the boat but I have already met a few very helpful guys in my area The FareHaven DNR boat launch "thanks Jim" I'm trying to get the boat setup correctly and the drive and the motor are first.

    Go fast,
    Rob

    Default Hi Rob

I have a 1980 Hondo #109 "The Mist" It runs OK I have tons of parts and I am willing to help anyone.

    what is your strut angle?
what is the distance from the center of your vdrive case to your bulkhead?
what is your HP, gear, and prop?
what is the dia. of your prop shaft?

How fast would you like to go?

    Kevin

Kevin I was the guy next to you on 23 with the Hondo. I was just done running the boat and was washing it off. Jim "cole crazy" helped me out with a prop, new shaft and a new bushings in the 7 deg. strut. I was able to hit 74mph on sunday as it was still rough out but Jim thinks we can get another 8mph out of the set up. motor is 36" from the transom and 96" to the center of the v-drive. strut is 7deg 1"shaft HP is probably around 500.
