    i have recently accquired a 77 spectra, 460 ford, berkley jet. boat was running 2 years ago it is not now. need to have carb either rebuilt or replaced (been off motor, all froze up). i live 10 min from gun lake will be there in july but will probably be land locked. any info, questions answered, will be greatly appreciated.

    yes it is but not sure what size. cannot mopve linkage at all lol.

    Check the model nr, usually inside the carb, stampeded under the choke butterflies forward on the raised section, 4170 etc. if you can open them.

    IMHO if a carb is seized up like that, the air ports, jets etc are eaten by white rust (fuel residue) and does'nt clean up easily.

    If its that bad you will be farther ahead getting a different one.

    well wut size motor do you have and list a little specs on it and im sure these guys can maybe recommend one for ya...and someone might even have one layin around...

    don't know much about the boat but i believe its a stock 460 ford

    well that one looks like the one i have lol and i'll keep it mind. would really like to just get it running for this year and try to do some of the other stuff over the winter. i'm hopeing it will be a running project boat. thanks for your help.

    well if its a stock 460 that holly 750 would be perfect for it and that is a hell of a price for it......good find brian..
