    Default New axle needed!

Hey guys, apparently me and some BUDS hit a stump backing up at Harv's awhile ago. Rear axle is bent, and having a hard time finding a new one on short notice. It's a torsion axle, and am told they are only custom made, meaning 4 weeks! Any body got a good source locally, that can make a new one??? I'm in Novi area, thanks, Keith

Any chance you can get it pulled straight? Find a body shop with a frame machine or HD alignment shop.

There is a place in Kawkawlin just north of Bay City on m13 at the light, the guy stocks everything, can whip them up and stress bend them in about 4 hrs. prices are very reasonable. You can't do it youself for what you can buy one for. I'll do a little research and post the phone yet tonight .......Just looked it up they have a website, kawkawlintrailers.com.

    Thanks, I'll check them out.

Sleek, I got her straightened, but the torsion rubber is compromised, plus the arm the spindle attaches to is shot. It'll roll o.k., but for a short distance only.
