Default The Wood is out for the year...

    Fellow rain watchers,
To make a long story short, at the Oscoda meet I was hammering the wood waaaay to hard running with Matt's boat and yes, my exhaust temps were 280 and it was smoking... Looks like I cooked the rings and whatever else, so with that said, if their's anybody out there that overhauls Lincoln engines, let me know... Note to self; "it's NOT a drag boat A hole"

Sorry to hear it Andy. I have a feeling that you'll overcome this one more obstacle. While the engine is being done, you can fix the gray spot on the bow. I know I'll see you in Oscoda next season. We've got Wildfire all back together and running. Hope to be at Gladwin. Come up for the day and enjoy it with us. Chet.

    Mercs are just dandy
But you have to be handy
    To keep them randy

Sorry to hear of your bad experience. But you will overcome and have her running again.
Actually, I suggest you throw a few Viagra pills down those Stombergs. That ought to straighten things out and give things a 'Little Wood"
