It's been 2 years since I bought this boat, Trailers done ! Hull Stripped repainted inside and out, floors flowcoated, pounded dowels in all the holes not used and reglassed everything, All new interior, The motor's done sitting on the stand just need to finished assembling the induction system and buy all the bolts for the intake and blower. I also bought a storage barn this year and emptied my garage at home (which I coulden't walk through for the last 5 years) and completely drywalled and finished it off last month. Is this boat a money maker ? Absolutely NOT ! Could have bought one running for about 1/2 the price. .................................................. ..

I'm getting ready to tear the interior back out today and cut the fiberglass tanks out. Had nothing but problems last summer with the Schiada. Fiberglass tanks are just obsolete............... Will this ever end ???? I'm either happy or just plain stupid because I'm now looking forward to installing a couple of aluminum custom tanks !!

One of the problems was that the wifey hated the Sanger, the Schiada rode a ton better but it still looked like the Sanger. The Spectra will be a Camouflaged and a little more Sedate'. No fun going boating alone........................... Gotta find a happy middle, cheaper to keep buying boats than changing wives !!!!!

Thanks, just went out and tore the interior and flooring out and getting ready to cut the tanks out. I wish someone would talk me out of it, they look great seems a shame to butcher them out and spend 800 bucks, but I had so much trouble last year with my other boat, I think I need to change them and be done with it !!!

I was out there twice this summer on my Sea Ray, had to get out and walk it around the corner to get in the cut and go back to the lagoon !!! Great place to hang !!!!!! Can't wait to flame out there in the V-Drive. Thats the kind of water that Spectra was built for !!!!

Well It's a good thing I took the plunge and started sawing last night, the braces/ baffles were delamed and just ratteling around inside and the resin was soft, they would have self destructed in a month and ruined my whole fuel system like they did on my Schiada. When that resisn mixed with fuel gets in your system and you let your boat sit for a month it dries out, hardens and ruins all your diaphrams !!! It's all downhill from here, all I have to do is keep throwing money at it !!!! What a concept !!!!!! How did I not know that !!!!
