    Default Great turnout at Wamplers

We had a great turnout at Wamplers lake for our first get together of the season. I counted 22 boats and at least 55 people. Our delegate from Kentucky, Jeff, was there and he enjoyed his Birthday basking in the Sun and boating with his son whom he let drive the boat for the first time. It was pretty tough getting the smile off of his sons face. I think he really loved driving it. Jeff also brought a couple of friends with a blown Hydro from Middletown Ohio. There were several of us without our boats as they were not ready but it won't be too long until we will have them in the water. It was good to see all the Hot boaters that we haven't seen since last season.McDonalds were here from Canada, several from the Toledo area, Kenny Goetz ( Prez ) and Randy Beach. Bob Ellis and Tom Wright from the western part of the state and many of us from the general location of Wamplers. We had a few members from the Irish hills Yatch club present also. One of our past boaters, Ed Elias, that we haven't seen in several years came from Indiana. He now has a Southwind jet that he will be bringing in the future. Wth him he had his fiance Susan. Once again it was great seeing everyone. I can't remember all who were there in order to put their names in, but you know who you are and I'm sure you enjoyed the day as much as everyone.

Yes it was a great day, and nice too see everyone again. It was killing me not have my boat in the water, bone spurs are a bitch, the shots seem to be helping. To the hall tomorrow for paperwork for a possible job, maybe " It's only money" can be held on to for awhile longer. Thanks Harley for the stickers.....what do you think? Too bad I couldn't back it up!!!!!! LOL...Take care guys..

I forgot to let all of you that couldn't make it know, Sheppie forgot his" bilge pump " again, so he left his boat on the trailer. I figured you all wanted to be aware of that. Chet
