We had a winter one, why not do a summer one?

I have been encountering set back after set back lately and have had no time to finish painting the boat. I'm hoping the next few weekends will allow me some time to finish wetsanding and final coating the thing. Then I needs to build my toe kick and seat boxes, followed by carpet and installing the tanks. It's just one thing after another. Looks like I'll be boating in October again this year!

The good news is we're looking for a house with a 3 car garage. :D

Big thanks to hst4me (Lynn) got me the special spanner wrench to finish my lower unit on my Sea Ray, Started at 7 AM Saturday, finished the mechanical and maintence, washed it waxed it took until about 3:30 towed it up to Tawas, put it in the water, had a steak dinner and GOT DRUNK !!!!!! Now the wifey's happy and I can turn my efforts toward my Speed Boat !!!!!! Thanks again Lynn, our resident master certified Marine Tech and fellow lunitic Speed Freak !!!!!!! Dave that looks great. Now as this is a BS thread here goes-2 weeks ago as I was about to run my valves I found a rocker arm off the pushrod (also a bad lifter well sorta bad so I do the remove replace deal and get it all back together run the valves again and decide to do a compression check to make sure all is good...Guys I cant tell you how important it is to remove the breaker bar from your blower when checking compression ,,,my water pump got golf clubbed right out of the timing chain cover had to use inserts to get it together.I know it sounds funnier than hell, but I looked today when I started it up to make sure that there wasn't a 18 inch golf club waiting to do it again.I know I'm not alone on this it's ok to just chuckle but.... Don't Try This At Home!

Sheppie, please tell me you have a vidio of that and will post it. Dont feel bad, I was running the rack on one of the gravel trains once and the dispatcher comes out screaming that he needs the truck now!! Guess who forgot to take the 14" pipe wrench off of the accessory drive? I didn't think a wrench like that could bend up like a pretzel like that when ya started the engine, makes a pretty good racket too!!

Closing on a house Friday near Lake Angelus and Lake Oakland in Waterford, ya'll will have to drop by next summer and tear it up. ;) Boat is still a hull in the garage, at least its painted now. :))THumbsUp We'll be moving labor Day weekend. I still have Wamplers on my mind so there's still a chance yet that I'll make it with the Bait Boat.

Hope things have been well with you guys.
