Been trying to download some pic's for the last 1/2 hour, can't get them to download. My lap top might be obselete to the new format here. It's a 17 foot Vector just like the one Art had. He was at the boat ramp tonight, totally stunned when I pulled up with the stream !!!! The thing gets TON's of comments, Kinda like driving a split window 63 Corvette but about 45000.00 cheaper !!!!! I'm going out of town early tomorrow. I'll try to figure out the new format here Tues. Have a SAFE weekend EVERYBODY !!!!!!

OK, here ya go, didn't get any of the complete boat, more to come. Finally figured out how to download again. As you can see, this boat drives so good even a CAVE MAN can do it !!!!! The motor is a 140, got it dialed in pretty good, didn't have any trouble melting a 21 pitch aluminum 3 blade. The engine is for sale with the power trim and hoses for 1500.00 obo if you know anybody that needs one. I'm getting ready to attack this thing and repower it with a V - 6 as soon as I finish my Spectra which is getting closer every week. I've been working about 2 nights a week on it lately finally got the tanks built, mounted, plumbed and braced. A lot of fabrication for the home handyman !!!!! Getting down to the final nuts and bolts assembly which is where I excel !!! I'll post some pic's next week on it. Enjoy !!!!

Heh, thats where I pretty much started in all of this lol. I have the stuff for a nice 150 for Bill that will do much better than that 140. I love the trip to Bay City from Saginaw. There is always some retard in a 22 foot Checkmate or Baja that thinks he has the baddest thing on the planet. The looks on their face when they get passed at over 100 is priceless.

Thats the only place where you can run into a 'melting pot' of different hot rod boats usually on a Fri. night. Nobody down there on a week night. I always liked 'pacing' the aformentioned in my V-Drive until they 'ran out' and couldn't steer them anymore and THEN put the hammer on them. I've seen some old checkmates and Baja's run mid 80's and even a couple of nuts on jet ski's run that fast. You have to keep your distance away from them because most of those guys are way to cheap to buy a good steering system and longer k-planes. A lot of them are choking down a 500.00 a month boat payment on a 7 year loan for 35,000.00 and worried about the moose drying out in their spiked hair and metro wardrobe. Different times, If I came home and told my Dad I made a buy for those terms, he would have reached accross the kitchen table without saying a word and backhanded me !!!!!! Here's a few more pic's !!!
