Let me know when you are going to hit Blarneys. I'm only 30 minutes down the road.

The Chicago traffic is the biggest deterrent by far.
The last time I was at Blarneys was in July 05 and its taken me this long to get up the patience for the traffic jams again.

80/90/94 is done around the bottom of the lake, now they decide to work on 294 traffic is simply bad here.

Here you guys are complaining about traffic, and I just moved out to southern California! I really wish I could make one of the Blarney Island races this summer, but I won't be back until the middle of August. Good luck to all of those who attend, and have a cold one for me.

Chuck, how do you come up? 31 to 12 to 173 over to Wilmot Road is probably the fastest for you. We only live about 10 miles north of 173, so it works out really nice for us. Anytime you want to go out and don't feel like draggin the boat, you got my number...

I will keep that in mind Pat 31 or 59, 59 seems quicker, till Barrington, and 31 drags thru Elgin, Algonquin, Mchenry.

    Default South Elgin

When I raced at Blarneys and lived in South Elgin. Bartlett Road to 59 to 12 was the fastest. The bitch was thru Barrington. No way around that mess.

When you come back on 59. Ive seen several road blocks so be careful.
