What can I do?
If you own a boat, explore. Dock at the Boaters Dune Area, head to the Breakwater Coves and enjoy the fun on the lake. Head to Heritage Landing and listen to great country music, join the Sunset Boaters Jam Party in the LST Cove for some Buffett style music. In general have some fun. Don't forget to paddle with Dave Alexander of M-live during the community paddle.
No boat, no problem. Take a tour of the 3 historical vessels located on the Lake. Take a cruise on the Port City Princess. Join the Sunset Music Jam on the deck of the LST393. Visit one of the great beaches, or eat at one of the great restaurants hosting parties and music.

By land or lake it’ s time to showcase the Muskegon Lake Effect. “Muskegon is a beautiful place to live, work and play. From the Lake Michigan lighthouse on the pier, to the Shoreline Inn downtown you can find a great place to relax and refresh on the shores of Muskegon.” Lake Effect leader Roger Zuidema coordinates the fun and plans are coming together for a fantastic 2012 Boat Time. “We need to continue to grow the tourism aspect of the Blue economy being developing here in Muskegon. By showing the world our great natural playground we can continue to develop the vision, Muskegon is sitting on a gold mine and it’s colored, blue.” Zuidema invites everybody to attend one of the planned activities or the spontaneous fun that happens everyday.
