C'mon Up !!!!! We go down to Lexington Ky. in the spring for golf, never boated down there. Kentucky is Horse country. Lexington is 9 hrs. from my doorstep. The boating here is some of the best in the world !!! Bring the family and we'll hook you right up. The weather has been great this spring !!!!!

    Default Ky lakes

I live about 35 minutes south of Versailles in Richmond Ky. Closest Lake to Versailles would be Taylorsville Lake, clean and kind of small with alot of Louisville boaters on the weekend. Cumberland Lake would be about 2hours south, nice clean lake but alot of cliffs so beaches hard to find. Dale Hollow lake about 3 hours away, one of the most beautiful in the US. Green River Lake about 2 hours west, nice clean lake. Ky lake in far western Ky in home to the KDBA drag boat clubs races. There is the Ky river close by but the level moves alot with rain fall. Ohio river is about 1 hour west, it also rises with rainfall. Some lakes controlled by the Corp Of Engineers doesn't allow over the transom exausts. Hope you enjoy your visit. Contact me if you would like more info. Terry

I do a week long houseboat trip on Lk Cumberland every summer. Lots of wide open water for tubing and such. Not much for beaches but very nice lake. 100 miles or so long....
