    Question Shoe install Question

Has anybody milled there own intake for adding a shoe ? What i'm concerned with is where and how much material is needed to be removed. This is on a Berk 4* intake on a glass V bottom. I have an adapt a shoe/RP kit (non adjustable) now but not installed. The intake is comming out unexpectedly and why its out i would like an adjustable shoe installed. Any feed back would surely help out and thanks in advance.

Hell yah, let me have a few jack and cokes and I know it will

Now you need to find out what type of shoe you need. What is the shoe that you have already? a flat one or what?

have to look at it and see what it is then just get a machined shoe for it after the intake is back in.

Start with a 5/8th flat shoe, it will give you some room to work it. Being a small/big block, you won't need a huge opening either.

Just start with a flat one, you can always take it off, and make tapered, and back cut shoes later
