Default Will be there for sure.

From what I've heard, there will be boats coming from Nebraska, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and several local Iowa performance boats. I've been to the lake and it's a great venue for this type of racing. Great view for spectators. Great camping, and everything you need is within walking distance...camp right next to your boat, the lake, the BBQ and the Race Course!

What type of boats make up the majority of the races? Outboards, Jets, or V-drives? Looks like a great time... Already have the wife on the page of going...

Default Perfect balance...Half are roaring American V8's AND Half are Hi-Winding outboards!

Half and Half......pretty much across the board. Quite a few flat bottom v-drives and jets, lots of outboards-hulls like Allison, Hydrostream, ect. A few hydros and a couple I/O's. There will be a few DR20's...and capsule boats which are awesome to check out.

It's a great mix of people and boat varieties. All the races are really close because they are matched well in there brackets. Nobody really gets their doors blown off, it's great racing, and all the racers are there because they love the sport and the venue.

Send Troy an email and get a place reserved. Pay when you show up, just let him know what you need for room.

The Hot Boat Association has a long block of sites reserved next to the boat ramp and lake....which is a few steps away from the start of the race course and band stage. Power hook ups are on the sites and if you want to "tent" it there's plenty of grassy areas to set up.

Boats are coming in from all over. Just had 3 more v-drives confirmed tonight at 10PM. It will be one Heck of a show and good time for all.

    Contact Troy on payouts.

There are several criteria that are making the kitty grow (pay-outs).....a good spectator turn-out for parking, sponsorships and general race registrations.

Thanks for the interest. Plan on attending. It will be worth attending!!!

Lets get the boat count up, as in all motorsports, participation drives the payouts.
