Default Ft Gibson this weekend May 31st

The lake level is 4.6' bove and rising this morning.

If the island is there it will be very little of it.

I'll get a visual report later today from the contractor building the house right above the island.

Yes I have been watching it. If the main part of the lake is trashy I will just hang around the Rocky Point and Flat Rock area.

So.....How was the Keystone deal last night Ron? Very many boats show up?

    It was nice Bill.

Several of the regulars were not ready with their boats yet. But still plenty of boats and drunks LOL

    Bill,
i am going to have jetter put in at rocky point and have him look for your boat, he wants to get his wet real bad but doesn't want to be a lone boat. He lives just down the street from both of us.....he is a super guy and has a blue and white apollo jet. I told him i felt sure i would make it saturday afternoon he was going to follow me up but, my MIL's surgery has been postponed untill late this afternoon so i will be watching after one of my kids which is handicapped most of the weekend, i really don't want to take her out in the Sanger without a whirlaway.......So i guess i am going to be shooting for Keystone next thursday evening to get the Sanger wet.

I just can't seem to get a break! Oh well it is still a long summer ahead to play on the water...........

    Don,
I will be there, Probably in the old Taylor V-Drive that is for sale. Tell Jetter Yellow boat with For Sale signs on it. I will watch for him.
Come on down and bring your daughter. You don't have to go fast with her in it. We can help you get it wet. She can ride with me and the wife if you want to blast it. Tell Jetter to call me if you/he can't find me. 637-7553

Yea the island is under water. Nothing but trees sticking up.

We'll be at the lake house right above the island and on the water in Mrs. Infomaniac's Ultra. It's white with burgandy and silver stripes.

Well..... I just got home and I hope I didn't miss either of you there. It rained for about 20 minutes around noon and then turned out a nice day. I did not even put a boat in the water. My Dad had problems with his pontoon boat and I ended up working on it for 4 hours to get it fixed, then he wanted to go home, so I helped him load everything and get his boat and travel trailer put away. Not the way I wanted to spend the day, but what do you do......he is 78 years old and needed my help.
We are leaving for Vacation to Virginia on Tuesday, so I will try it again in 2 weeks.
Jetter....sorry if I missed you. I saw a white/blue jet put in but could not get to the other side of the cove to check it out. Not sure if it was you or not.
Stop by and see me sometime, I'm just around the corner.

Bill, nope you didn't miss either of us.....we didn't pull up because of weather and lake condition. I have spent alot of time on Gibson when it has been up or is up and don't like to contend with floaters in the water. This v-drive deal is new for me and i am beiing picky about putting it in, i would like to see better water conditions for the 1st couple of times out. I am going to try again this week probably around 5:00 in the evening towards the end of the week for an hour or so just to get it wet maybe Skiatook. Sorry to hear about your dads boat troubles and being unable to get yours wet at least his is fixed now, i am sure he is happy. Be SAFE on your travels and i am sure we will talk with you when you return.
