Default Events on Table Rock Lake???

Does anyone have any info on events on Table Rock Lake, poker runs, live music, bars, ect, ect??

We're trying to plan a trip for next summer and I can't find much info other than the shows and events going on in Branson.

Is Table Rock Lake more of a tourist attraction instead of a party lake?

I know that there's 4th of July festivities, but we're trying to plan a week long trip on a different weekend instead of the 4th.

Does anyone have good suggestions as far as Missouri or Arkansas as far as lakes that have some kind of yearly events worth making a road trip to???

As always, thanks for any input.

Table Rock is one of the best lakes in Missouri.I prefer Eagle Rock area its right at the Arkansas and Missouri border and its a good distance from Branson.Beaver Lake, right below Table Rock in Arkansas is realy nice also.If your looking for the party lake in Missouri then go to Lake Of The Ozarks.Lots to do there but the water gets real freakin rough.

    Thank You Milburn.

Do you know if there are any bar/restaurants on either lake, with live music, entertainment?

    Thanks again.

Where do you want to stay? What do you want to do?
Kimberling City is near Branson so entertainment ashore is better.
We have 2 houseboats at Port of Kimberling. We originally did all of our boating around Shell Knob. The Port Grill @ Campbell Point marina has bands every Friday & Saturday, but like every other place on the lake in a State Park they close at 9 or 10 pm.
Kimberling City has the Bearded Clam & Ahoys. Both have bands ,although they stay open late. 2am I think.
The better water is toward Shell Knob. Actually between Shell Knob & Eagle Rock is the best becasue there is little traffic down that way.
Down toward Eagle Rock is Big M marina, they have a great little restaraunt on the water & I prefer eating there over any other place at the lake.
Big Cedar on the Long Creek arm is the best "resort" there & is close to Kimberling & you can find good water that way too. They have a killer breakfast buffet which explains the extra weight I put on over the summer.
For places to hang out there is The rope swing going toward Cape Fair, Cow Creek cove, Marker 17 bluffs, Marker 21 cove & Marker 25 Bluffs. My favorites are 21 & the swing, respectivaly.

Give me more details about the swing area.Theres also a cool sand bar over by Eagle Rock where all the jet boats hang out.It seems like all the jet boats come from the Holiday Island area.

Great info thanks. I was just wondering if there were places to drink and hang out on Table Rock because it seemed to me like more of just a tourist type atmosphere.

We're thinking either rent a cabin on the lake for 4-5 days if there's some kind of event going on, or bringing 2-3 trailers with friends and camping out right on the lake for 4-5 days while there's events going on.

It would be great if there's bars/marinas that you can access by water, hang out and listen to some live music, get a bite to eat, then head back to the camping area.

I just don't have much info about table rock, other than the water is great.

    Thanks for all the info.

The best bet for on water entertainment is the Bearded Clam. It is accessible by water. It is a long hike up the hill to there. It is at the Kimberling City bridge. The 1st cove to your right heading away from the dam as soon as you pass under the bridge or the 1st cove to your left heading towards the dam before you go under the bridge.
Big Cedar Lodge has live bands at Buzzards Bar & they are accessible by water too.
Port of Kimberling has a large campground. I will tell you that the people who run the Port aren't exactly the greatest folks around. They bust balls all the time about "quiet hours" & things like that. So if you are comming to party at a campsite, be looking somewhere else.
The water will spoil you. I moved to Texas a year ago & I really miss Table Rock. So we pull 9 hours to get there to spend the weekend.

Bought a slip on a dock on 21 and just bought a DCB Mach 26 to put in it. I hope to spen a lot of time down there this summer. Will have to check out the swings.

From what I understand, Table Rock is not a big party lake and the locals and lake patrol like to keep it that way.

Dock 21 or marker 21. There is about 30 miles difference between marker 21 & Kimberling City, which would have a dock 21.
If it is either, we'll see you there. Got places at both!

Shoot, you'll never burn any gas next summer if you got a place in 21.

Given that I will have a new toy to play with, I think that I will go through plenty of gas. Who do you have work on your boat? Any experience with T & J Marine?
