Well a little info.about that lake its dangerous.I put in at the dam and went to the other end of the lake and the wind changed and there was about two foot white caps.I had to stay on one side of the lake on the way back.If you go on down to Collinsville exit which thats high way 20 and stay on that and go to Skiatook lake that way is a much nicer lake.

Tall Chief Cove is a good spot to camp, but you might as well drive on to Ft Gibson and camp and put in at Rocky point. That is where everybody around here hangs out, there are some at Skiatook and Oolagah but most show up on weekends at Ft Gibson Lake at Rocky Point and on Thursday Nights at Keystone at Applachia Bay........

Oolagah lake......leave it to the crappie fishermen.

Skiatook lake.....pretty nice, too close to Tulsa for me, like Chopperdaddy says, too many hassles. If you do go there plan on getting there early and leaving early, the line at the ramp at Tall Chief cove is insane. Second time there saw a pretty good fight at the ramp.

I think there are some drags over on Keystone on Thursday nights

Try to make the OHBA regatta on Okmulgee lake on the 8th & 9th of august. If we dont have a monsoon like last year it makes for a good weekend of fun. Some of theese guys have been there. Last year we had the front half of the lake for the people to run there boats. Fishermen seadoos and all the non particapants were kept on the other end, you can run as fast as you want and not have to worry about running over someone. As for not having a jet or V drive doesn't matter, we have members that dont even have a boat, they just love to hang out and talk to those that do. Just about any one there will tell you about there boat. Its a great place to learn if you have not had a Jet or v drive before. BUT TWO WORDS OF CAUTION .............THEIR ADDICTIVE..............Hard to get out of your blood once there. Hope you give us a try I think you will like it.
