If you guys or girls are near any of the course locations and havent taken the class its very much worth it! You will learn things you dont know & would probally never figure out on your own. Step up and learn its good for you & your passengers

Thanks, but Grand Lake is quite a bit closer. I would rather not have to get my boat out of the water and drag it over to Grand.

Only runs about 60 now but with new mill hope to get 85+ out of it this summer. I do agree there is a need to educate people on safe boat handling. There has been many times I have wanted to choke a few that had no common sence, courtesy, or understanding of the laws that are in place to help keep our waterways a safe place to go and have fun. I live on a small lake that has a counter clockwise rotation, and the people that use the lake were all raised on digital watches and have no clue. The other problem are the PWCs once on the seat many operators have instant labotamys. As for those learning to operate a first boat, or a larger faster boat with no pryor experience, then training is a good idea, it could very well save a life. Just at first glance $1500.00 is well out of the reach of a lot of people who could use the training. I wish you had a course for PWCs and state laws made it manditory, that all who rode them had to take it. That would be a good thing I think. I wish you well on your endevor to educate the willing, that training might well be the best thing a new boat owner could do to keep the harmony with others on the water.

    Good luck and safe boating

We endorse taking safety classes. But what you do with the steering wheel and throttle is very important too. Did you know that in the last 6 years that a very high percentage of high performance boat accidents where solo? A boat by itself on the water going at speed then all of a sudden, the boat is spun out or upside down with the driver saying.... What happened?? I was just taking a little turn. That is why We teach real set skills. Bad thing is with every incident, boating freedom is nearing an end.
