10 of the views are probably mine checking to see if anyone replied.
We have a couple of drag races planned, we would love to see some v-drives and jets.

Maybe we should make something happen!

I tried a couple years ago but nothing ever came of it. Sounds like there is a few hot rods in the Alexandria area, A couple down around Whapeton/Breckinridge a few in Duluth. And Rain Maker in Mpls. The guys around Alex said there is a chain of lakes all hooked up so that could be the spot to go. If you are thinking about trying to get something going let me know and I'll try and make sure that the boat is running.

Yeah I agree, the bottom of the entire state borders Iowa, the west edge borders North and South Dakota I think Minnesota belongs in this group.

Crap now that I am typing this out we are bordered on the north by Canada and on the east by Wisconsin, could it get any worse?

Lake Minntonka checking in. Sold the avenger. Picked up a '75 Hondo T-deck, that's about finished.

Don't have the boats ready to run yet. But, I liked hearing they are racing in Omaha. We need more racing here in the midwest, even if it doesn't require turning.

    Hey Guys,
I found a group of bad boys out in Wisconsin I run with (Yooper & Flattie on the boards). If you're interested in taking a run out to thier lake (Shawano) sometime this summer, let me know. It's about a 4 hour drive from the Cities.
I'll have my blown 19' V-drive Cougar tunnel completed in about 4-6 weeks. Let's stay in touch and get together locally. Jocko (Dave)

Don't know if I would make wisconsin. I am 5 hours NW of MPLS. But if we could get something going for Alex or the general middle of the state that would be good.

Sounds good. I'm somewhat familiar with some Brainerd area lakes, Gull Lake and Crosslake (Whitefish Chain). This is somewhat centrally located.
I would also like to hit those wacker drags in Fairbault, MN and Iowa. Might be fun! Jocko

Lake Minnetonka? I bet they love your boat on that lake......I thought about bringing mine over there but figured they would turn me around after 10 minutes and tell me to get out....with the exhaust noise

Honestly I don't know what they are going to think it's not running just yet. I'm running the stock Hardin logs just in case but I've got a set of Bassett's if it's too quiet.

I've run my Sanger flat (avatar) several times at Minnetonka without any cop issues. I never stepped on it or screwed around. Ran it with water injected Bassets and collector mufflers. It was fun pulling into Lord Fletcher's and getting 10x more attention than the rich guy's $200K offshore boats! Jocko
