Never actually been myself, but have heard others talk about it.... From what limited info I have gathered, it isn't too bad.. Pretty sure they did a bikini photo shoot there a little while back with a bunch of "hotboats". You may try asking this question on www.texashotboats.com, somebody over there bound to know something about it.

If anything, you could check out the image galleries for the bikini pics.....

Default Canyon Lake - What State?

There's a private lake community in SoCal called Canyon Lake...is that the one?

Sorry....I just realized your posting was in "Cowboy Country"...you're obviously not talking about SoCal. Next time I'll actually read!

Canyon is a great lake we go quit a bit usually stay up by the river end it can get a little choppy by the damn, but nothing a jet couldn't handle, there's a nice little party cove and a decent resturant on the lake too. nice clear water and deep.

I haven't been "on" the lake in about 10 years but haven't heard any negatives about hotboats and noise. Beautiful water and I don't "think" it gets extremely crowded except on holidays and when the Austin lakes are low.

That's cause they know you're the guy with the ultra deluxe, super secret, highly sought after, limited production, double secret probationary anchor.

We went to Canyon last year with about 7 or 8 speedboats. Not too huge of a crowd and was a little choppy for my HydroStream, but I really did like the lake...
