Default New Race Schedule-Southwest Drag Boat Association

Here is the new schedule for SWDBA races held at Elephant Butte, New Mexico:

    May 10-11
    June 28-29
    July 19-20
    August 23-24
    September 6-7

The races are normally held at Hot Springs Landing (the old dirt boat ramp). Saturday is qualifying and Sunday is racing. We usually try to get things started around 9ish in the morning.

For more information visit the website www.swdba.org

Come on out and race, watch, or just hang out and have a good time at the lake!

That's good news! Especially since they started letting water out 2 weeks to a month earlier than normal.

You should come over the mountains for a race or two this summer.

Hopefully we can start assembling the motor on the weekend of the 18th. That only leaves 2 weekends till the first race, so I might need them between the 18 of April and the 10th of May. I'll let you know.

I think most of the rigging and fabbing is done. Sending stuff out to be painted and powdercoated now. Going to start on assemblying the engine on the 18th. Running out of time and $$$ LOL!

You should be able to buy the weld in fittings at Yearwoods down there in $ell Paso Land. The last one I got was 5 bucks or something like that. Just need one fitting if your planning on using my WB02. If you buy the innovative kit then it will have the bungs in it.

    Outlaw,

I haven't found anyone here for polishing, but I found a place for powder coating that is very reasonable. I'm dropping off my motor plates and pump brace tomorrow. PM me your number so I can call you. My old phone died and I don't have your number anymore.

I won't need the headers till the end of this month (with my luck, that will probably be the same time you need them! LOL!)
