Whats the matter with the Red River? I hear peeps talkin about runnin on it every now & then, not too often though...

I like running on the rivers around here myself, never have to worry about it bein choppy like out on the lakes we got...

its 1/4 mile wide up here , but no real place to put in a jetboat and i've been up and down it to much in a airboat to ever put a nice boat in it. too many trees floating around in it, there's no dams between my town and texoma lake, so it catches hell during rain storms and when texoma dumps heavy into it. hugo lake dumps into kiamichi river but again, there's to many things to hit. kiamichi dumps into redriver, so anytime texoma floods, they'll be dumping with the gates wide open, and we don't get to let out water from our big lake, so it floods as well ruined my summer locally 1 yr when texoma flooded bigtime but from what hass tells me(he lives on texoma lake) nothing on redriver was boatable. i was goin into texas 10miles to patmayse lake all that summer, nice lake, owned and operated within texas by oklahoma patrol officers/okla corp

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

I gotcha.. Yeah, I remember that about the lakes up there bein so flooded & meesed up damn near the whole summer for you guys... The rivers around here ain't all kittens & sunshine all the time far as stuff in the water. Guy tore his v-drive all to shit at the Colorado little while back cuz he drug it across a tree or something under the water. Hell, the river I like to go to here local has a Confederate Ironclad sunk in it... It used to stick out of the water some, now, not so much... Just gotta steer waaaaayyy clear in that area, the river is wide right there, so its not much of a problem.

Cody, I'm gonna try to make this deal if I can. I'm not gonna be able to commit to it though because my son is graduating from HS in Mississippi and I'll need to save my pennies to go and see him.
