Default Percell, OK Race happening this year?

Just curious. I haven't heard much and was hoping we'd have a chance to run the boat before Poplar Bluff.

    Any updates?

I wasn't around to see this, but my dad has told me that they use to hold them out there. That would be a perfect lake.

I raced SDBA at Overholser in the mid 1980's. It was a nice track. The race course ran along what I think was the dam. We put in on one end and ran the course (I think East to West) then had to drive a ways across the lake to pull out. The pits were below the dam and you viewed the races from the dam.

sounds jus like when they held the longhorn nationals over at lake crook in paris tx, they'd race along the dam area too.pretty neat place to race, but at the time there wasnt many hotels in paris, so they quit doin it now there's at least 5 new mega hotels there, wished they put it back on, was a big draw for the town plus its local to me

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

We are interested in going as well. This also still gives a weekend off before Wheatland.

If I were to do that race that is the exact weekend I would have chosen.

It lines up with Augusta so it wouldn't compete for boats.

    Were in.

I'd like to see it go back to that lake. It's mainly a jet ski lake now. I used to ride there 3 days a week a couple years ago, and there was always a few skis on it. It is about the perfect size to hold an event like this. It's bigger than the Purcell Lake by a lot, but not quite as smooth though.
