    i have purchased a 28ft sleekcraft enforcer 1988 with the engine missing its became a real project 2yrs now lots of missing engine brackets not quite enough knowledge but were geting there i really like the style of these boats but have a few questions of what is neededto get it back in the water i have had a 540 cu in engine built for it but the boat came with a alfa outdrive so am trasfering it over to a bravo1 i have noticed that the boat has a water pickup in the bottom do they use just the cranck driven pump or also the belt driven pump off the pickup from the outdrive also will the standard drive plate on the flywheel be strong enough for the 540 any help gratefuly appreciated thancks

    Probably best to post questions in the "Tech section" ... outdrives .... good luck and welcome to the boards
