    Hi!

I posted yesterday, not sure what happened to it!

Anyhow, Love boating. Have had 3 since I sold me first one, outboards, inboards, but no other Jets.

Recently bought my first boat back from the fella I sold it to (14 years ago!): a 1977 Tahiti Super Tiger Bubble jet.

It is 460 Ford powered, with some interesting modifications. Berkeley Jet, some things done to the grate, impeller and a diverter added that I don't really understand.

Anyhow, I found this site looking for more info about my Tahiti, and also some info on the weekend I have witnessed up at Mardon Resort on Osullivan.

I have hoped to be part of the jet boat crowd up there for many years and hope to make it to this one! I understand it is on the Weekend after labor day?

Can anyone tell me about it?

Thanks all, I hope to not be a PITA with too many questions, but I probably will.

    J

    heya Franger!

I only got to use my Tahiti one time back when I owned it previously and that was 14 years ago at Rimrock.

    Good times!

Kinda slow around here, but I figure it will pick up when the weather warms.

    Thanks for the Welcome!

Welcome back to jets in the NW. If you want a bunch of info on the Mardon weekend go to Skagenboats.com In a nut shell it is the weekend after Laborday, not sure the exact date that lands this year. Since it moved from Laborday weekend it has been growing in attendence and weather depending could be the biggest ever this year. I would recomend getting a reservation asap. I think the cabins have a 2or3 year waiting lst going. If you get in contact and stay on it people do cancel and you may get one if that is what you want, but they always have camping or RV sites. The resort hires a band Saturday night and makes a bunch of bon fires, that part is very nice! It can get windy, so be prepaired for sun or wind. Tony Skagen is the one who organizes it so if need anything give him a call or PM him on his site. I have gone for 7 or so years and have great time every year.

If you make it over the pass some time come out on the Snohomish river great bunch of boaters here.

Did you're boat come from Bob Feils in Wenatchee, they sold a bunch. Had one a long time ago and the folks ran around the Columbia with 4 or 5 that were friends boats. It will pick up soon, keep an eye on the boards and if you get over to Seattle stop and introduce yourself to Jerry and Tony Skagen.

I am not certain where this one came from, but I went to school with Bob Feil's son at Eastmont High. I think his name was Doug? I bought this 14 years ago used and abused for 1K. Had to sell it before I could fix it due to kids and other projects. Just bought it back a few weeks ago.

I will look those fellas up for sure if I get over that way.

I look forward to hitting the river in Wenatchee too, but Osullivan is our favorite.
