    Thumbs up Former NDBA member

Still enjoy the old stories and reliving the past. I raced Super Modified and Comp Flat during the late 70's and early 80's; one a Brendella and the other a Cole. Those were great times and a lot of memories. At age 65, still have a 83 Cole TR2 which I have restored; can't get it out of my system. Glad to be part of the group and enjoy the V-Drive forum. Thanks again Doug T.

Welcome to the forums. I do believe I own your old cole that you raced "poison peddler". I would love to hear any stories or see any pictures you may have of it from back in its racing days.

    Default Cole TR2

Yes Jake, that is my old boat. I met Gary Riggins at a CVDCOA outing a few years back and he re- introduced me to the boat; he had done a beautiful restoration job. I raced it for 3 years in Comp Flat with a best time of 9.66 @ 126; not bad for the day. It was always a sweet handling boat. I actually have numerous pictures and video if you are interested. Thanks for the feedback, Doug T.

Here ya go Jake, It's a great boat, these are when a friend of mine and Doug's owned the boat. Doug bought it and first race ran 4-5 MPH faster than our buddy

    Welcome,
I really enjoy the old stories and nostalgia as well. I would be interested in any stories or photos you are interested in sharing.
