Default New to the site.. picking up a Sanger this weekend..

Just signed up, but not new to the Hot Boats..
Live in Monroe, Wa. and remember my Father back in the 60's/70's building Sanger boats with Keith Jacobson in the North West..
Been reading on the site lately, and recognized a Sanger I'll be picking up this weekend.. looks like it's going to be a fun one..

Default She now has a home in the NW

Left Wednesday morning, stayed in Wells, Nv and made Laughlin by 1PM.. Thursday

Seller comp't me a room @ the Riverside Casino where we met.. had blast and ate, drank and gambled.. We met up in Kingman, Az. Friday morning.

from other info on this site, understood it was a Drag Runner(18'6) but actually measured 18'3.. so a circle runner hull(my preference). turn on a dime..
All looked like it would be a good project for me, so went ahead and bought it..

Got home tonight about 4pm.. here are a couple of pictures.. Got to love Craigslist..
pretty sure this was purchased from "Mouzer" after "77 bubbledeck" sold it to him in 2009 less the engine.. he said it was a drag hull..
came with a folder full of receipts.. Kinsler injection, 496 rotating assy, Crower pump, Comp solid roller cam/lifters,gear drive, Hunt Magneto, Dan Olson Zoomies, Hamberger Pan, etc....

I'd be interested in selling the complete fuel system and manifold including rear tank and braided lines if you know anyone with the desire. it is suppose to be flowed for a mix of Av gas/pump... by a guy on EBay known as "AlkyDigger"

also will be looking to find a buyer for the Zoomies..

Very cool. He was my step-dad. Back in those days I remember meeting JP Patches an Gertrude and a lot of Elks events. I will find some old images if can.
