I've just inherited a '72 Tahiti Torino Jet boat from my late Dad last May. It hasn't been started since 1986.
I've had Harvey Williams II of Williams Woodcraft and Boat Repair (in Sacramento) resurrect it and we're driving it in the Sacramento/American Rivers.
The 455 Olds is good, everything is stock, as well as the Berkeley Jet. My question is that do you have a DIY kit or modification for a Place Diverter, if that is what will give me the optimum speed & performance for my buck available, or would you have to perform the mod. up there ?
I have added some pictures to help you, I hope. I am looking forward to hearing back from you Sirs.
Here's a video of the propulsion pattern too. As you can see a lot of speed is to be desired ! 😃
