Would it be better with a Victor Jr, or a TR?? I am curious because it it very similiar to my engine, except for carb size, which I'm sure my carb is currently too small...
Yes on the Victor with a Dominator or the Ram.......

Perferably with a gear and a 4 speed for the Nostalgia angle. 2 600 AVS/AFB style carbs and a nice "period" correct oval air cleaner... A street "thumper" cam shaft and some nice headers would be a cool combination....... Ray
lol...my bad! ...thats what happens when you dont take your meds!!! ...i got the #'s wrong...i meant the C66...the C26 was for a SBC...i have "both" set-ups, complete with the "period" correct oval a/c!...i may stick the C66 on the 396 i have & put it in the Schuster! lol

But might consider a TR II with the Enderle bird hat......... Ray

How much power did that single Dom set up gain over the Dual Dominators or was it even tested as such?

    Yes they are
Well, except maybe the Dart Box Ram, but then it really isn't exactly a tunnel ram

    Dart box ram

Specially when it comes to 110 AVGAS. Talk about hard to track down. The only thing they use that in anymore is WWII war birds, and restored post war classics.

Quickjet, there is no such thing as "over oxgenated fuel" Unless you care to throw alky, nitro, and hydrazene along with a few others I won't even discuss here, in that catergory.

He says he mixes 50/50, 91 and 110 av gas, which I haven't seen readily available in some time, because the valves need it. If this thing is in fact an L88, it isn't very happy on that swill. Not because of the valves, but because of the almost 13 to 1 cr. Those things weren't that happy with the 104 Chevron white pump back in 1967

Read Sleeper CP's results.... Aircrap intakes dont work on boats (V-drive or Jet). A single plane Victor or Dart is way better. If the application was for a car then maybe, however I would still run the bigger single plane on that as well......or even the RAM!
