the tunnel ram having longer runners could potentially offer a little more time to coll acting like a cheap a$$ intercooler plus there is much less resisitence in airflow than a stock blower manifold. I've investigated this idea myself plus a tunnel ram has more volume resulting in more residual pressure meaning when your running seven or eight pounds of boost watch out cause its ready to haul a$$ . Just fab one up alot cheaper to for the common man with the hook up on a welder

Could someone help me understand the benefit of the long(er) runners for a blower application?

Any more or less benefit for circle than drag?

DSorry to hijack the string... but seems relevant.

I don't know if you know Penny and Dennis Boring, they run the "Penz Toy" blown alcohol dragster out of Oroville, he is running a blower on a tunnel ram set up that Dennis made and did a bitchin job. He is also building a hydro. I have old contact info for them somewhere but I will be seeing them soon if you cant get ahold of Dennis. BTW - They usually attend the Marysville Car Show in June and lay down some rubber on D Street. That show is also now open to boats. If I can find the info I'll PM it to you.
