Seems to me on one of the videos that boat in the background driving by him was a winger. Everybody is waiting for this #$%^$#&* to go on his head to see what else is going on.

I know he helped Harris build a boat to come saw Me and Shoemaker off. Its to bad he never got to see Harris do it. Tom Loved Racing, Tom hide Harris boat from Shoe every time he went to Tommys shop, tell me he didnt like pairing boats up and pounding his chest when one of his boats kicked ass!

I guarantee Tom is Smilling that his life has sparked so many boating enthusiast. That includes all the guys who never knew him. Tom is still bringing boating enthusiast together, That is huge so what if they didnt know him its because of him they are there.

It is my feeling that Those who knew him and want to really honor him should change the direction of the event into a safer one. Pull the new guy over and tell him hey this is a day we do not want to lose, we do not want to get anyone hurt and please be safe. Pass a little of that boating enthusiast along to the new guy that was given to you by TOM PAPP.

Hell I could be wrong and Tommy would have said *** all these mofos get out of my shop.
I sure wish I could have really meet him, He sure had alot of good people around him that have become my friends

Flash forward to 3 years ago, I was shocked and honored to get an invite to the Tom Papp memorial via a PM. I was one of the only 2 V-drives in attendance. It was great to meet some new people and hang out with the guys from the other side of the isle.
I look forward to this event every year. I don't go to race or prove anything but to see people that I only get to see at this event and meet new people as well. True that I didn't know Tom like most people did, however if it wasn't for this event, I wouldn't have some of the friends that I have now nor would I have the respect I do for some of the serious hardware that Tom put out there or was a major influence in.
I would hate for this event to come to a hault and I think it best that we do all we can to promote safety to keep this hobby/sport growing, alive and well.

TOM would have loved this deal .. but a safer / more controlled event .

not the free for all cluster F U K seen in the video ... better paring 2 AT A TIME ONE WAY PASSES ... controlled reentry back in the cove.. NO WAKE coming back in ... and more VODKA . ON SHORE .

TOMMY LIKED A GOOD TIME / COCKTAIL .
