I sure hope you are able to make it. Litchfield would be a little closer for you, and it's a great race site! New Athens is a little later in the year though, which might help depending on when the Blarney Island races are done.

    2008 SLDBA Schedule

So, here's the deal. Below are the race sites/dates for the St. Louis Drag Boat Association. We have some great things in the works for the next few years, so right now is a great time to jump on board. The Illinois races aren't too far for you Wisconsin and Michigan guys. If your boat runs 16 seconds or faster, I better see you at an SLDBA race this year...v-drives, jets, outboards, doesn't matter! And if it doesn't, come hang out with us and drink beer!

May 17/18 Poplar Bluff, MO (5/31-6/1 is backup date if waters do not subside)
June 21/22 St. Louis, MO (Creve Coeur Lake)
    August 16/17 Chouteau, OK
    August 23/24 Litchfield, IL
    September 6/7 New Athens, IL
