Good news for iPad users. It won't be long now.

    This is an easy fix.

    Go on Craigslist.
    Open advertisement to sell.
Put MAC up for sale to unwitting buyers.
Take money and buy a PC.
End of problem. Now you will have compatibility with the rest of the world, including your legacy software that you spent a fortune on that sits in a desk, unusable and without a MAC version.

There are a couple of apps that claim to handle Flash on the iPad. Specifically, Skyfire and iSwifter.

I've heard reports of unreliability and I've also heard positive reports about these two apps. Given that I am a Luddite, I do not own an iPad. Therefore, I cannot provide any more insight into this potential solution than this.
I think you will have to wait till Steve Jobs dies to get flash on the iPad.

Maybe you guys aren't familiar with what happened between Apple and Adobe regarding flash....

    Once upon a time...

    ...in Silicon Valley...

    ...some believe around the year...

    ...two zero ten one,

head Jobs of the Apple Clan,
Steve Jobs, was walking down a road...

    ...contemplating whatever it is

that a man of Steve Jobs
    infinite powers would contemplate -

    which is another way
    of saying, "Who knows?" -

    when an Adobe executive
    appeared on the road,

    traveling in the opposite direction.

As the monk and the Jobs
    crossed paths...

    ... Steve Jobs ...

    ...in a practically unfathomable
    display of generosity,

gave the executive the slightest of nods.

    The nod...

    ...was not returned.

    Now, was it the intention
of the Adobe Executive to insult Steve Jobs?

Or did he just fail to see
    the generous social gesture?

    The motives of the executive
    remain unknown.

    What is known...

    ...were the consequences.

Regarding the other guy having issues with the player, try updating your flash.

I don't see an issue here and I am on OSX 10.6.7 (10J869). Can you send me a link to one of the videos you can't see? PM or just paste it into this thread.

As far as the iPad goes, you need flash to view embedded videos. The iPad doesn't have flash.
