I agree that the current form of welfare is flawed however I can find a better approach than "simply let them parish". Your mindset is that of 1950's America and you are completely out of touch with reality.
You want it both ways....Yoland isn't going to "Get a job" because she can no longer cash in on entitlements. She wont suddenly become educated, rich, or even employable but rather turn to other means of easy cash. Robbery, Prostitution, Drugs, incarceration, kids in Foster homes etc.....all means of ways to extort even more money out of an already broken system.
My suggestion is to rather than foot the bill for unwanted children, is to instead make it esier for Yolanda and her peers to eliminate what is sure to become "Generations of Crack heads"..(your words). My way is to offer free, clean and legal abortions within the first Tri-mester. This little and inexpensive "push" could potentially save the American tax payer billions. If you have a problem with abortion then that's fine....dont have one. If you have a problem with paying for Yolanda's abortion then please understand that you are saving money over paying for her many children's upbringing and more than likely crime spree. And please don't bring God onto this as he has no place in Fiscal legistlation. I personally have never had an abortion of any of my children however I am not closed minded as to think my life represents everyone elses.

Odds are that if your paying for private school its because your not happy with the performance of your local school, religious reasons, ethnic mix of local schools or not happy with the liberal teachings of public schools.
