I am looking at this paint system, anybody know anything about it. Saw a guy here on the boards refer somebody to this stuff. If this stuff is any good I think I can easily hit my $1000 mark, probably even under it.

Sleek, dont take me wrong, not mad at you. Not even mad at Doug. Just seems to me that if I was selling something I would be kissing ass instead of putting people on hold for an hour and a half. I'll try him one more time but the first time I get put on hold i'm done with that company.

He sure likes to talk about ALL the great things he has built with his product and after hanging up the phone I still didnt know shit about his product. To me this was not a good way to treat a potential customer but I guess thats the new American Business way of conducting business.

Sorry man, was just an option, it's not for everyone

Same place as Cowboy did....Sher-Fab Unlimited. Talk to Doug Sherman, very knowlegable, and easy to understand. He will give you the plan, as far as the methods, and steps needed.

The Clear Alone Is $600 A Galon And Thats Not With The Hardener. That Is $100 To Make The Galon. Then You Have To Buy The Paint Both The Orange And The White Also $300 A Gal. I Know I Craped In My Pants My Self. Good Luck On The $1,000 Mark Youll Be Jell Coating Yours To.

    $3800!!!!

I'm going to do all the work myself, with a buddy of mine (who used to work in a body shop). I'm going to do base/clear when I do it. Figured about $500 for the paint and supplies, and give my buddy a little cash for spraying it. $1000 bucks max!!!

Thanks for the numbers though! Much appreciated! I wait until I have that much money available, just in-case I splurge and it does end up costing me that much money!

Would have never dreamed it possible, prior to the new additives for spraying as a top coat. Sprays like regular paint out of a regular gun, and high gloss shine. I'm just waiting to get in the bodyshop now, working on engine stuff now.
