Dr. Steven Chu reminds me of Mork, from Mork & Mindy. For those who are old enough to remember that old show.

On one Mork found an egg threw it into the air and yelled "Fly Be Free" the egg went where you would expect.
Strait to the floor and broke.
Much like Chu with our money, "Fly Be Green" go bankrupt!

It clearly states at the bottom of the list

*Denotes companies that have filed for bankruptcy.

I read the list and recognized companies I held in the past and present and thought the same thing until I read what the asterisks were denoting.

    Johnson Controls.

I saw the same thing. Thought WTF!!!
All those companies recieved grant money from the Obama admin for green energy projects, research etc. Only the ones with a * on their names filed BK. Damn, for a second I thought, "wait a minute, don't I own some JC stock"?. But no, not for some time now.

I don't think Johnson Controls has filed for bankruptcy , They may be having other issues , Only the ones marked with the (*) Have filed for bankruptcy

Looks like J.C. is taking a big gamble on A123, I guess they learned something from the LAME one. Maybe this is how they got tangled up in this mess.

"A123 today said Johnson Controls (JSI) will help finance the filing by buying A123's automotive business assets for $125 million. As part of the transaction, A123 will receive $72.5 million from Johnson Controls to continue operating during the process"

That was highly amusing- but the list above may not be realistic.

If one biggie is off then how many others?

Not changing O's failure here- just calling into to question the legitimacy of this particular list.

I like checking things before accepting/ or pushing them as fact.
