It may be time. It may be an issue that has long gone by. It may be, it may be, .... The only thing I have to ask is, what did we get out it? Nothing. 50 years of refugees, stolen property from Americans in Cuba, emptied their prisons and sent them to Florida, wanting to park our enemies nukes off our shore. Etc, etc... We should have taken the country over the day Castro took over. We go to Nam and NK half way around the world to stop communism and here its in our back yard and we do nothing for decades (Bay of Pigs, what a joke that was). Tell the Castros they have 3 weeks to get out or we are coming for them like we did Sadam. Be done with it already. But Obama would never do that just like the great JFK (another week kneed Dem) that took it in the ass over the Cuban missile crisis and the following treaty saying we would never go into Cuba. The USSR is gone. The treaty is void. Send a drone, one rocket and then pass out the Cuba cigars.

Personally I think it's time to end the embargo and let Cuba try and resurrect itself. Castro is old and may make his last move one to make O look like the inept idiot he typically ends up being with foreign affairs. But the people here and on the island need to regain control and make the place come back alive.

The whole deal about allowing communism to gain a foothold in this hemisphere is past for the most part outside of several SA nations.

I see this as another vehicle to feed the influx of immigrants. I believe he is doing his best to have an immigrant blitz his last 2 years.

Very true about the granting amnesty part. But he already has done that with some. And wants to grant Puerto Rico statehood to allow more government money to flow there.

I guess if we had a guy with some ball in office, it would be different. Normalizing relations could easily topple Cuba if there was someone in that had the guts to do it right...

All this was is another Obama prisoner exchange coupled with and another verse of Obama singing to himself, "How Great Thou Art"!
Our Great Appeaser will kiss any country's ass, with tongue, as he attempts to change the world as only the Great One can. He believes all president's before him were tyrants in regards to foreign policy and he, the Great One, is the only one capable of saving our Nation

Any country who wishes something from the United States simply needs to kidnap an American citizen, sit back and wait..... Obama will come.

And on another issue of shameful disgrace , Sony Pictures are candy ass pussies! Thanks Sony, as you validated Kim Jong-un's empty threats as reality, as a result, Kim Jong-un grew three feet taller yesterday and Sony is eating Shit Pie!!

What county are we living in? Toto, I don't think we are in Kansas anymore

I don't know about you, but with this idiot in office, I don't trust Russia being there. At least we can keep a closer eye on them.
As far a Cuban nationals entering into the US, they already are.
To start with Russia wouldn't be there if we had a leader that they had any respect for. They know America is week under this a-hole and are taking advantage of that weakness all over the world.

We have two Cuban Americas in congress and both are opposed to this action and one of them is a liberal democrat that says something right there. What you say about China, Saudi, etc. is probably true but by normalizing relations with these commies validates there policies and removes any chance the country will ever be a democracy. Of course Obama is probably pretty happy about that.

    Forkin' Crazy
Yea no shit. I saw Oblahblah on TV while ago talking about that ... right before I changed the channel. I was delighted though only CBS was carrying his speech. NBC and ABC had their normal programing.

    Got to just love this:

The White House cannot completely lift the U.S. economic embargo on Cuba -- that will require action by Congress, where bipartisan coalitions both support and oppose such a historic shift. But administration officials said the president would unveil executive actions to ease restrictions on trips by U.S. citizens to Cuba. Those travelers will also be able to buy Cuban goods for personal use, including up to $100 in alcohol or tobacco products, meaning that at least some Americans will be able to bring home some of the island's famous rum and iconic cigars.
There he goes with is fucking pen and phone!

    Cuba - another bad deal

Just herd that Obama traded 3 high level spies for the aid worker in Cuba. Another GD aid worker some place they shouldn't be.
To bad Obama wasn't in the market for a 2003 Chevy van. I bet I could get 3 corvettes for it.
