    Beautiful boat Uniboarder!

The Sleek hull will do everything I need it to do (and I dig the looks of it with the engine cover), so it will be getting the YJ hole glassed up and something worthwhile installed. Tom, you'll be getting a call once i get moved into my new shop and get things in order.

bite the bullet and ditch the jac. and install a more modern pump or find a newer boat with good pump and install your motor, gages etc. and move on. Plenty of better hull/pump combos out there for cheap. good luck.

Sweet! I thought it was. Sportsters are actually pretty rare. I have a '79 Sportster.

That type damage occurs commonly when one tries to remove the YJ without taking off the transom adaptor as the two rear intake to suction bolts come up from below and can only be accessed after TA removal so folks take out the obvious bolts and bam the pump rocks back and breaks either the suction or intake, The wear you see at the front of the impeller is because the combined wear of the impeller/wear ring and thrust bearing and likely "shimming" has allowed the leading edges of the impeller to begin to abrade the suction housing call if you need help or tech Tom

    Jacuzzi YJ Extreme Failure...Help?

    Looking for advice.
The Jacuzzi YJ on my Sleekcraft packed it in the first time I had it in the lake. I was going to upgrade to an Energizer kit, and pulled it apart to find a broken intake housing. The bottom 2 bolts on the bowl were missing as well, so obvioulsy someone bojacked it together.

    What are my options here???

    Thanks.
    Kris.
