I like the pictures at the dam.Post some more.
the higher gas prices go the smaller the boat you need! 19 mm
Black how big of a boat do you run? We have a house on the 13mm and run a 21' and I take it anywhere I want. The ride isn't the best (actually horrible) but we still get where we want to go. Just take it slower and safe and you will be fine. If you want actual comfort you will need 27 + to feel good.
Lake of the Ozarks is still my favorite. But if you realy want to enjoy boating and safe water try some of the other lakes in Missouri.
I am in Columbia, MO. just bought a boat this winter, but i kinda grew up down there every summer because we had a second house on the 7MM in lick branch cove.
i would like to go back down to my old stomping grounds but i am not sure if my boat is big enough to handle those monster waves
Was a 396 chevy but it was long gone before i got the hull.I should of bought a more complete project but i still have my Century to cruise the lakes.
ya the 496 is 60 over 1/4 stroke deal , is the hull aready set up with ford power, chevy stuff is much cheaper, i ebay most of my stuff to keep cost down. ya know wife kids
cant wait for this weather to turn into spring, hate winter.
I'm looking at a Ford 429 but i can never make up my mind.Is a 496 just a bored and stroked 454?
the 496 bbc is a easy build up and gets cheaper all the time, i see rot assy for around 1200.00
I'll check out warsaw next year. We're going to try out leaving our campers on the truman side close to truman dam and then we'll be close enough to drop our boats on both sides.

Washington Missouri here. Most of our boating is on the Alton pool of the Mississippi River.
