Scott you didnt just say that a set of carbs will feed the same amount of fuel as a hat setup will did you? I allways thought you were smarter than that.....You will never be able to set a carb far enough back to feed the back of the blower to keep it cool so it will need to be clearanced to do it.

Smart move, unless you're going to run that alcohol through carburetors and then the blower. I assume you're going mechanical fuel injection?

Thats the same thing I was thinking, but on the other hand don't you use twice as much Alky as Gas on the same motor?? I think I heard that once, might have something to with this mystery.

He didn't tell me at the time that the top inlet on the blower case had been milled an extra two inches toward the front of the blower. I was going to run my dominators on it but when I put the carb spacer on top, there was a two inch gap. Here's my problem. I have to have a spacer made to compensate for the extra milling. OK, I'm fine with that but, I was also told that I would need to feed the front part of the rotors with fuel or it will burn up. It would require two extra fuel lines plumbed into the case. Is this true? I don't know how this could be done with a carb setup. Do I have to go to an injector to make this blower safe to run on gas? My primary usage is river and lake use. It would get a fair amount of running time.

I run a 1471 high helix delta port with a hat on alky on my ride but i plumbed the back 2 lines from the hat rite into the 1\8" pipe fittings in the back of the blower. I would think that to run a 14 with carbs you would need to make sure that the blower is set up lose enough that when it gets haot and starts eating the rotors and case up.
