ADAM seeing that you have the boat flipped why not dial the bottom in ,after all a hook is a hook . Feather Fill is great stuff but i think you will find Duratec a much better product , less money and white . Adam Imrom is great paint, put Awlgrip, is a step above for durability and i prefer Imrom myself . I have to say that if you can spray one you can spray the other because they are both very wet paint just my 2 cent's G .G .

also I see some of you guys are from the west side, thats cool I drive through that side every few weekends in the summer heading to the sand drag strip. I have always liked that side of the state, maybe I will take the boat with me and stop by some of the lakes in that area

hey, thanks for the welcome guys! Lake Lansing is in Haslett MI. about 20 min. from Lansing. It,s a crappy lake but I call it home it's quite small. I'm hoping to get to brower park, gun lake and bud bash this year. but I have to get the damn thing back together before I think about that. the bottom of the boat is in good shape, except for some rock gouges. It has between 1/16 and 1/8 inch of hook around the intake, 1/8 by the intake and it fades away from that so I think I will leave it alone. I have read a few threads about the paint and I think I will first spray it with featherfill and then with Imron but mabey some gurus that can give me some advice about this! The boat is a sidewinder sk lo-pro its actually a very rare sidewinder, but it does have a heavy layup
