I thought it was pretty cool. I met up with Mojave Kid & wife + a friend from Galt a few years ago. We launched out of Verona and headed north. There are some nice beaches on the way up.

There's a group of guys that hang out up river from there. Blown injected alcohol v-drive kind of guys. I met up with them a few years back, if I can remember who it was (here on the boards), I'll let you know... Wait a minute... It was a guys birthday... Casey I think. I forget his screen name. Good group of guys, awesome hardware (boats/engines).

Up there, it's not like the Delta at all. Basically one waterway, but still an adventure... especially if you haven't been there before. Very beautiful.

Just did a quick search. It is Casey and his screen name is CHARITYCASE. Drop him a PM and I'm sure he will tell you all you want to know or even meet up w/ you. Only met him once, but very cool guy!

Go there all the time. Action has slowed down a little though. Have never had a problem with LEO but the fishermen are not to friendly to hotrods. 8 bucks to launch and go up river to some pretty nice beaches.

Stingrayz is the local spot there...Beer and Wine with the occasional BBQ.
