by the looks of your avatar,i would launch at Oyster Point and rip the bay to places like Sam's in Sausalito,Pier39 Fisherman's wharf,Jack London Square near Alameda, check out Alcatraz and big Park on Angel Island across from California City.If you want fresh water, you have to drive farther to Pittsburg/Antioch and enjoy 1000 miles of Delta waterways

Talk to the realtor and tell him or her about your garage needs?

    Delta for sure.. (Big boat.?)
As far as indoor Storage, you're gonna pay in the Bay.

X2 on the Delta area. If you want to do some lakes the biggest in the central valley close to the south bay area are New Melones, Don Pedro, or go further north and try Folsom and Oroville for some good pleasure boating. Theres some nice secret places too, but you have to know the password and secret handshake to get those....

Storage facilities are plentiful along the Delta, find a place you like and they will usually make a deal with you to launch and store for you.

Good luck and welcome to NORCAL!
