Have to give the kid credit for trying. And with a name like "Dimebag", what do you expect?

Good luck Brad, I hope you can get a ride.

    What happened to the jetboat?

For those who take Brad seriously, I personally know Brad from CFW and he is a good kid and can drive a boat. He is also helpful and can work on stuff, not just sit in the driver's lounge. He has helped me out on several occasions without me asking him to do so. Perhaps if someone was looking for a driver, they could see him drive his jetboat (if he still has it) at CFW or the Afterbay up in Oroville.

One thing that Brad might want to do though is clarify what "free" means . . . he will also pay his own expenses? just a thought. As we all know, it can get expensive . . . .

Best of luck to you Brad - LSR

It's cool to see a young dude interested in drag boat racing, we need many more just like you. A couple suggestions that might help you achieve your goals. As it is in most forms of racing, there are way more drivers than there are rides. I'd suggest you continue to beef up your resume in terms of what you bring to the table. Try to land a gig working on the type of boat you want to drive. Learn everything you can about it. That will also help you get known around the pits. Most owners aren't going to put someone in their boat they don't know. You might want to start learning everything you can about getting and keeping sponsers. Racing is all about $$$ and if you can bring some to the team, it would help you land that ride. In most forms of motorsports today, drivers are expected to bring some support.
Best of luck in your search for a ride!!!
