    Default Shasta water level?

I am going to shasta for a couple of days this next week and wondering how low the water is? Every person I talk to, of course they don't boat, says that the water is way low! I checked of the cal trans camera and seen a few photos and it looks like its just late summer levels. Anyone been lately? I am going to be staying in the area of Antlers and I could only assume that the launch next to I 5 is closed! Looking forward to some great times at my favorite lake!

water is way low, but boatable. They are letting out 1 foot a day.Antlers and Tsasdi's did even put their docks in this heart. They are using the ramp at sugerloaf (I think thats the name of it). I will be going up in a couple weeks. There are some spots to look out for, but its a deep lake so stay in the middle of the channels.

There is plenty of water to play on. I was there June 17th thru 24th. Hazards are marked well. I launched at Sugar loaf and drove all the way to Bridge Bay and beyond. Keep in mind I have a low pro jet. Piece of cake!!! Go have fun!!!

I live in Redding and have a 28' Daytona Cat and there is plenty of water in Shasta to boat in. Up the Sacramento arm the only place to lauch is Sugarloaf .

I know this thread is about the water level but had a quick question. We usually head there a couple times a year. (From Salem OR). This year we would like to plan a trip around some sort of event like a poker run or something. I have been having a hell of a time trying to find one... Any info would be great
