The lake is rising daily. For every inch of rain we get it equals about a foot to the lake. Last year was the first time in about six years that the water didn't crest the glory hole. Berryessa is still one of the fullest lakes in Nor Cal.

Nice pics Hemi,it looks like you covered the lenght of the lake from the free boat launch to pope creek bridge. My guess is you live north west of the lake.

My boss and his son both had places at Rancho Monticello, there both in the process of removing them now. My sister lost her place three years ago at Pleasure cove. My parents owned a place at Berryessa marina for over 35 yrs. but sold it before all this BS started.
Being my wife is the head wrangler at R-Ranch at the lake(approx 80 horses) we are given a three bedroom house for free it won't change much for us luckily. We are 10 min. from the free boat launch and 15 min from Steele park, which I prefer.Being I own a home in Vacaville I'm at the lake a min.three time a week at 40 min. one way I spend a lot on gas and time going to and from.

He removed his mobile home? I was there over New Years and I didn't see any empty spaces. Maybe I should have looked harder.

This is the first I heard that Red died. Damn, I'm sorry too. I never met Red FtF but did have some contact with him when a tire co. we both did business with sent my bills to Red's account because of some confusion as we were both "R" Plowman and bought the same size and brand of tires for our trucks. Red had many years on me and I'm almost as old as dirt so he lived to a ripe old age. Could you please send me the obituary if it isn't too much trouble? Thanks for posting, Brian and my most sincere condolences to Red's family.
