    Default Went to MClure.....awesome!!!

Made my way to Lake McClure last friday, water level was up, debris was no where to be found as well as other boaters. I highly suggest checking it out this time of year, water temp was perfect and had a blast. I really forgot how damn big that lake is and its only 30 minutes from my house.

    Check it out

Any pics? I see the signs to McClure when I'm on my way down to Visalia alot and I've always wanted to check it out. Isn't that near Lake McSwain? My sister and her husband go to McSwain quite a bit but I think its just a fishing lake?

Thanks for the pic, and WOW the water level is low! I bet its beautiful now if its anywhere near full capacity. And yes, it does look like Pedro and or Melones. I'll have to check it out sometime.

we live in mariposa so its been our local lake for 40 years. mid usually figures out a way to screw it up so theres often low water. three years ago it was full, last year bagby was not useable at all like the picture. water level is up but no where near full. bagby is still useable but not for long. dont let the word out but less wind, less crowded, long river for skiing compared to pedro.

    Default HEY SHhhhhhhhhhh!

We dont want everyone to know about this lake .We need to keep it on the down low.We dont want all those big boats from down south to take over this lake to. So lets just keep it our little secret..... This is one of my favorite Lakes I've been to . Going up on the 17th of August, cant wait . Hope the water level is still up then.

agreed , but all the ballast filled w/b boats rough it up more than a 38ftr especially at 100mph
