    How does that happen..?
I noticed fuel comes out of my vents, but water getting in is going to be a lot bigger "DOH" than my fuel getting out. lol

Depending how much water, you might run down to the auto parts place and get a couple of bottle of Heat. It'll take out or let the water mix with the gas and you can burn it.

you need to put some oneway vents on the line or cap them off and get some vented filler caps
get blown or get blown away

Well the moron that had the boat before me put the vents in the worst place possible... When i was beached up yesterday a kept getting wake and water was running into the vents without me knowing.. On the way back to the launch it started sputtering and my fuel filters looked like they had milk in them..

I shut her down and drifted.. got some help back to the dock.

Today im installing some correct vents with a check valve and capping off the ones through the hull, draining tanks and ripping into the carbs to make sure i didnt get crap in them when i ran outa fuel sunday.. It wasnt running to good after i filled it back up and went for a speed run.. Either i got crap in the carbs, or the pickups in the tanks got something in them.. Id idles fine and cruises at 2500 just fine.. If i try to get with it its good for about 5 seconds then starves..

You may have picked up some dirt that was in the bottom of the tanks when you ran dry. Replace your fuel filter(s) and check the carbs. A little dirt in a jet can really cause problems. Water isn't good either. Pull the fuel lines and back blow the lines, if there's anything in the pick-ups it should clear it out. BUT, it'll still pick it up later on. Sounds like your secondaries may have crap in them too. I hope you don't have to pull the tanks to clean them out.
