    Other that fluids and filters what should be checked, adjusted, or changed at least once a season.

    How often should the drive be taken off inspected and alligned?

    Pretty much every nut and bolt. Check spark plugs, Impellers. Sometimes I run them for two years. If you see it check it. If you can't see it climb around it and under it. And don't forget the trailer.

    I have the drive pulled every 100 hours. Check the alignment (which has been spot on every time) grease the splines and give it a good visual inspection. U-joints should be lubed as well unless they're the sealed ones. Don't forget the second grease zerk which is conveniently hidden on the other side of the u-joint.

    Its a relatively easy DIY job if you have the proper tools, but I prefer a competent marine mechanic do it so an amateur like me doesn't miss anything. Besides, I don't need more tools that I don't use.

    thanks for the input. I will prob have prestige pull off and align it.. I do not know the last time it was done.
